We were approached to produce a number of bespoke Facebook promotions for The Body Shop UAE including tools to promote awareness of their 100% Vegetarian marketing campaign.

Our promotions are developed to work intelligently with Facebook’s powerful features to allow maximum exposure of the brand message and effectively build their following on the Facebook platform.

Pledge to Veg

Our ‘Pledge to Veg’ campaign encouraged users to take a stance against animal cruelty and pledge their support for 100% Vegetarian products. The campaign utilised Facebook’s powerful sharing tools to help users spread the message to their connections.

Guess the ingredient

To promote awareness of The Body Shop products, users were asked to identify mystery ingredients from the 100% Vegetarian product range in return for promotional vouchers and free products in-store. To build a strong online following, the promotion was fan-gated so users were encouraged to Like the brand in order to enter.

Amazing results

In the week following launch our promotions reached a quarter of a million people (up by 14,270%) and incresed the number of people talking about the brand by +1,140%. The promotions proved so successful that we developed additional local variations for the Hungary, Saudi Arabia Ryiadh and Jeddah markets.
